Line OperatorDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Line Operators for a leading supplier in the fishing industry located in Spirit Lake, IA. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as the Line Operator:Tend spoolers for continuous operationPerform the setup operationDetermine which spooler to use for existing ordersAdjust the level wind when neededDispense spools into the hopper loaderCheck the supply spool for the correct line after each line changePosition supply spools on tubsCheck for proper weights for each size runReturn empty supply spools to palletsMaintain proper speeds on the elevatorsEnter completed data into the computerStage product for the final step in the processWhat You Need to Bring to the Line Operator Role:High school diploma or GED; or 1+ months of related experience and/or trainingMust be mechanically inclinedAbility to follow written and oral instructionsAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divideAbility to perform mathematical calculations using units of weight measurementAbility to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
