Line Operator, AM, Fresh Kitchen - Deerfield | Publix Super Markets, Inc.Efficiently operating all equipment on the lineTroubleshooting process problems on all assigned equipmentLeading all production team members on the lineEnsuring correct usage of raw materials, labels etc.Coordinating all breaks and lunches for associates working on the lineLeading associates to meet the production scheduleCross-training all production associatesEncouraging associate to adhere to all safety guidelines and practicesMaintaining clean equipment in area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Completing all necessary paperwork required by the position andOther duties as assigned.Must be at least 18 years oldMust be able to push or pull heavy equipmentMust have basic mechanical skillsMust possess general knowledge of machine operationMust be able to use creative thinking for troubleshootingMust demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Must demonstrate safe working habitsMust be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequentlyMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hoursMust have excellent attendance and punctualityMust be willing to assist other team members in other areasMust be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of timeMust be able to work efficiently with little or no supervisionMust be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsMust possess basic math skillsMust be able to communicate effectivelyMust show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work andA commitment to Publix and our mission.Hours of Work: 2:30am-1:30pm or 2:30am-11:30am; rotating daysWork Environment: Temperatures range from 35 to 55 degrees.Frequency of Pay: WeeklyMinimum Base Pay: $18.60Maximum Base Pay: $25.65Potential Annual Base Pay: $38,688 - $53,352Year End Bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.Weekend Differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
