2–5 years of substantive litigation experience in a national, regional, or boutique firm; experience in both federal and California state courts preferred; strong research, writing and communication skills with experience drafting pleadings and briefs; experience with discovery, depositions and expert‑witness preparation; excellent academic credentials from a top‑tier law school; federal clerkship strongly preferred.

The Standard Legal Recruiting, a boutique litigation recruiting firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for its Silicon Valley team. The role involves handling high‑stakes class actions, complex commercial disputes, and intellectual‑property litigation for startups and Fortune50 clients.
Key Eligibility Criteria
2–5 years of substantive litigation experience (national, regional, or boutique firm).
Experience in both federal and California state courts preferred.
Strong research, writing, and communication skills; proven ability to draft pleadings and briefs.
Hands‑on discovery experience, including document production, depositions, and expert‑witness preparation.
Top‑tier law school academic credentials; federal clerkship strongly preferred.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
Manage high‑stakes class action, complex commercial, and IP litigation matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive litigation documents.
Conduct discovery, oversee document production, attend depositions, and prepare expert witnesses.
Participate in hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.
Collaborate closely with senior litigators and develop an independent client base.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Base salary range: $170,000 – $270,000 per year (DOE).
Additional compensation: annual bonus.

The boutique expects associates to log approximately 1,750 billable hours per year to remain in good standing.
