Job Overview
A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Carlsbad, CA office. The role involves handling wage and hour class actions and other labor and employment matters. Candidates with some experience in wage and hour litigation are preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
Duties
Collaborate with senior attorneys in case defense.
Engage in wage and hour class actions and other labor matters.
Participate in administrative agency matters.
Take ownership of assigned cases and drive them forward.
Requirements
1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in labor and employment.
Active California State Bar admission.
Understanding of court and employment-related agency procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Active California State Bar admission.
Skills
Strong organizational and time management skills.
