A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Associate in Atlanta, Georgia, to join their team. The successful candidate will assist in medical malpractice, personal injury, and civil tort defense litigation, contributing to a dynamic legal environment.
Duties
Work collaboratively on a defense team
Conduct thorough legal research
Draft complex pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs
Make court appearances and conduct depositions
Correspond with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Meet filing deadlines and manage case timelines
Requirements
Two or more years of experience as a litigation attorney
Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience reviewing medical records
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Initiative to work independently and in a team
Effective client interaction skills
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
