Job description

Apply your litigation expertise to improve how advanced AI analyzes legal issues, develops arguments, and interprets case law and civil procedure. This remote, part-time contractor role supports the training and evaluation of AI systems used in real-world legal work.

Key Responsibilities Perform simulated litigation tasks, including issue spotting, legal analysis, and argument construction.

Review AI responses to litigation scenarios and provide expert feedback to improve accuracy, precision, and legal judgment.

Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for legal AI tasks.

Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven legal solutions.

Help shape how advanced AI is trained, evaluated, and applied in legal practice.

Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Candidates with only an LL.M. or a foreign equivalent are not eligible.

Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Current legal practice in litigation, corporate law, real estate, bankruptcy, or compliance, with a strong preference for seasoned litigators.

Demonstrated strength in litigation strategy, legal writing, issue spotting, legal research, and civil procedure.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, close attention to detail, and strong analytical ability.

Ability to translate legal expertise into practical feedback for AI systems and work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications Federal or state judicial clerkship experience.

Law school teaching or lecturing experience.

Law journal or law review editorial experience during law school.

Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.

Work Terms Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.

Compensation $80 to $150 per hour.
