A law firm seeks a Litigation Career Associate specializing in E-Discovery to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This position offers the flexibility of fully remote work arrangements. The role provides an opportunity to engage in substantive legal work without the commitment to a partner track.
Duties
Provide general case team support.
Conduct strong legal research.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
Manage discovery tasks, including e-discovery.
Oversee case and project management.
Prepare for depositions and trials.
Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
7+ years of civil litigation experience.
Strong academic credentials.
Outstanding interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
Certifications
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
Skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in legal research and writing.
Strong case and project management abilities.
