Job description

Company Description Phillips & Paolicelli, LLP is a plaintiff-side law firm dedicated to representing injured children, workers, and individuals harmed by toxic exposures, dangerous medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and substandard medical care. The firm focuses on securing fair compensation so clients can maintain dignity and financial stability while deterring future corporate and healthcare misconduct. Because many of these harms are hidden and develop over time, the firm is skilled at uncovering scientific and legal connections that are often missed by others. The firm strives to give voice and hope to victims of corporate greed and negligence and to help end harmful corporate and medical practices.

Role Description The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in complex toxic exposure and medical negligence matters through all phases of litigation. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing case files, drafting and formatting legal documents, managing discovery, reviewing records, and maintaining case calendars and deadlines. The role involves coordinating with clients, experts, and co-counsel, assisting with deposition and trial preparation, and helping assemble exhibits and evidence. The paralegal will also conduct targeted legal and factual research, summarize medical and technical records, and prepare materials for motions and pleadings. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with a combination of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility.
