Live Hanger - 2nd Shift - Fort Smith, ARBachoco OK Foods produces the highest quality chicken products for the U.S. market. Currently, the Bachoco OK Foods family includes more than 4,000 team members who are dedicated to consistently producing high-quality chicken products and nourishing people around the world.2nd Shift - Slaughter Plant - Live Hang Dept. 101 Plant 1 Shift Hours: 2:30 pm - EOS Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Bachoco OK Foods offers competitive wages and benefits to include but not limited to: $1/hour weekly attendance incentive. $1/hour night shift premium. Health Clinics.Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; Receives chickens before entering the production area; Hangs live birds in the shackles in a humane manner; Rotate in position cycle as instructed; Sorts out DOA's (Dead on Arrival's) and leaves on belt; Understands Animal Welfare and regulatory requirements; Responsible for any and all directives set forth by Senior Management. and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
