Live HangerIt's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.The purpose of a live hanger is to discern between live and dead chickens and hang the live ones on moving shackles.Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Be able to work in a fast paced setting hanging a live chicken weighing 2-5 pounds, on every 5th shackleAdhere to all George's policies & procedures and all animal welfare laws & regulations.Must be able to stand for several hours at a timeMust be able to work in a dimly lighted work area shoulder to shoulder with other employeesMust be able to grasp a chicken at approximately waist level and hang a live chicken on a shackle at shoulder heightMust be able to discern a live chicken from a dead chickenThis position will not have supervisory responsibility.Education and/or experience:Required: nonePreferred: noneGeorge's is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
