Our staff of highly trained professionals treat patients holistically, considering family and living situations for the most appropriate care plan.The 24/7 Live In Caregiver position provides:Personal hygiene and grooming care to clientsAssistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.Providing meals for clients' nutritional needsReporting changes in clients' condition to nurse, supervisor, or client care coordinatorPerforming routine housekeeping and home management dutiesRecording each client's care on care plan and submitting care plan in a timely mannerAssisting with providing emotional support for the clients and their familiesAssisting with routine therapy exercisesParticipating in case conferences as requestedAttending all required in-service education sessionsHas the ability to use computer software program and smart phone for required educationRepresents the company in a positive and professional manner through a high level of customer serviceCan think critically without direct supervision and the ability to escalate when appropriate.QualificationsPreferred Live In Caregivers have a driver's license and car with auto insuranceOne year of previous personal care experience at a facility or agency, live in experience preferredTwo years of continuous work experienceCandidates must live in ConnecticutWe take great care of careers.
