Housekeeper Position in Defiance, MissouriA private family in scenic Defiance, Missouri is seeking a dependable, trustworthy, and experienced full-time live-in housekeeper to join their household immediately. They are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized home and enjoys preparing simple, healthy meals. The role primarily focuses on housekeeping with one trained pet in the home and there are no childcare responsibilities.This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values stability, respect, and a comfortable living environment.ResponsibilitiesDaily housekeeping and maintaining an organized homeLaundry, ironing, and linen careKitchen cleaning and organizationPreparing light meals and basic cookingCreate a welcoming home environmentGrocery shopping and household errands as neededKeeping household supplies organized and stockedOccasional assistance with an older family member if needed (not a caregiving position)ScheduleFull-time, live-in positionTypically five days per week, generally 40-50 hours per weekTwo regular days off each weekSome flexibility in scheduling is appreciatedQualificationsHonest, dependable, organized, professional, and respectful of privacyAble to work independently with minimal supervisionPositive attitude and strong work ethicAble to prepare simple, healthy mealsFluent in both English and SpanishHousekeeping experience preferred (3+ years is ideal but not required)Valid U.S. driver's licenseAuthorized to work in the United StatesCompensation$35,000 per yearPrivate furnished living quartersRoom and board includedUtilities and Wi-Fi providedAdditional benefits available (to be discussed)This position is located in Defiance, Missouri, approximately 45 minutes west of downtown St. Louis.
