WVU School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology are seeking a Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level to join our growing academic medical center.
The Opportunity
Practice in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery
Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
Collaborate with multidisciplinary transplant and surgical teams
Join a growing academic anesthesiology department performing 40,000+ procedures annually
Opportunities for clinical education, research, and academic advancement
What We’re Looking For
MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency or equivalent
Board certified/board eligible in Anesthesiology
Eligible for state medical licensure
Demonstrated interest and/or experience in:
Liver transplantation
Hepatobiliary surgery
Complex perioperative care
Fellowship training in Transplant Anesthesiology, Critical Care, or a related subspecialty highly preferred
