Load Planner- FreightLocation: Warrenton, Virginia Company: Growing Asset-Based Carrier Salary: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00(DOE)Are you a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment? We are seeking an experienced Load Planner to help drive efficiency, maximize revenue, and keep our fleet moving profitably across OTR and regional lanes.Our company continues to expand its national footprint, servicing direct shippers throughout the U.S. With a strong fleet of trucks and a dedicated flatbed division, we're looking for someone who can confidently manage freight flow while building strong customer relationships.What You'll DoPlan, assign, and optimize freight for OTR and regional flatbed operationsCoordinate driver schedules to ensure on-time service and maximize utilizationCommunicate directly with customers to maintain strong partnershipsSecure spot market freight and negotiate competitive ratesMonitor load boards and identify strategic freight opportunitiesMaintain accurate, real-time information within the TMSSupport revenue growth initiatives and meet performance targetsEnsure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulationsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 3 years of truckload planningStrong knowledge of flatbed operations preferredExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilitiesProficient in TMS platforms and load boardsWorking knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBackground in logistics, transportationWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationPaid holidays and vacation timeMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement planOpportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding carrierIf you are motivated, proactive, and ready to make an impact in a growing transportation company, we want to hear from you.
