Job description
Loader OperatorSouthland Holdings is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated construction workers to join our team as a Loader Operator.Duties:The Operator's primary function is to operate a Finish Blade, Blade, Roller, and/or Loader at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as neededOperates a Blade, Roller, Loader, and/or Finish Blade to complete tasks such as grading and move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregateMust have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materialsMay oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as neededMay perform other related duties as requiredRequirements:DOT Experience REQUIRED1-3 YEARS Operating ExperienceMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs. may be required to work in adverse weather conditionsRequires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properlyThis job requires the ability to perform essential job tasks in less than favorable job conditions. These may include, but are not limited to: Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, humidity, sand, wind, or other extreme inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time.Location: Austin, TXHousing and per diem will be provided for operators onlyFull-Time Employee Benefits: Competitive pay, Health/Dental/Vision/Life & 401K company match.
