Loader OperatorRogers Group is seeking candidates for the Loader Operator role at our Rhea County Quarry in Dayton, TN. Competitive starting wages and great benefits!The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machineryPerform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policiesPerform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by managementOperate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiencyProperly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environmentOther duties as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications:Must have a dedication to safe work practicesMechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as neededMust be willing to work overtime and weekends as neededMust be willing to work outside in a variety of conditionsMust pass pre-employment drug screeningPreferred Qualifications:Experience in heavy equipment is preferred, but not requiredWorking knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.Previous experience in quarry environmentExperience welding and cuttingAs a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including:Group insurance options plus Health Savings Account with annual company contribution.Company paid life insurance, disability insurance, and more.Retirement 401K account with company contribution and match.Paid HolidaysPaid vacation – 1 week at 1 year; 2 weeks at 2 years; 3 weeks at 5 years; 4 weeks at 20 years of service.Annual performance-based merit increases.Career growth/advancement opportunities.Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.
