Front End Loader Operator – Heavy EquipmentPay: $20.00–$24.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 4:45 AM–4:00 PMOvertime: Available/required based on production needsWeekends & Nights: As needed based on production demandsPosition: Full-TimeLocation: Giddings, TXWe are seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator / Heavy Equipment Operator to join a busy asphalt and aggregate production operation.Previous heavy equipment experience is required. Candidates with construction, asphalt, aggregate, quarry, mining, road construction, or materials production experience are strongly encouraged to apply.What You'll DoSafely operate a front-end wheel loader to move aggregate and raw materialsLoad and supply aggregate materials into bins and hoppersMove, build, and maintain organized material stockpilesLoad and relocate materials throughout the plantMonitor aggregate materials for quality and report inconsistenciesPerform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenanceFuel, clean, and inspect assigned equipmentMonitor equipment for potential mechanical or safety concernsCommunicate with plant operators, truck drivers, and other crew membersAssist with general asphalt plant cleanup and housekeepingSupport additional production and plant duties when neededFollow all OSHA, MSHA, PPE, and site safety proceduresWhat We're Looking ForPrevious heavy equipment operating experience required2+ years of related construction or industrial experience preferredFront-end loader or wheel loader experience strongly preferredExperience working around asphalt plants, aggregate operations, quarries, construction sites, mining operations, or similar industrial environments is a plusKnowledge of basic heavy equipment inspections and maintenanceAbility to safely work around moving equipment, trucks, and machineryStrong communication and teamwork skillsDependable attendance and ability to report to work earlyHigh school diploma or GED preferredMust be at least 18 years oldMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, and occasional nights when production requires itMust be willing to travel or work away from home when required
