Loan Officer – Real Estate Partnership
About the Opportunity
Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI) is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Loan Officer to join our team in an in-person role built around a strategic partnership with a real estate office producing approximately $200 million in annual volume.
This is not a traditional retail Loan Officer position where you are expected to build your business entirely from scratch. You will have the opportunity to work directly with an established network of real estate agents, develop those relationships, and become a trusted mortgage resource for their clients and transactions.
You will also have a dedicated Loan Assistant assigned to support you , allowing you to spend more of your time where it matters most: building relationships, counseling clients, structuring financing solutions, and growing your production.
We are looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable mortgage professional who understands real estate transactions and knows how to turn strong relationships into long-term business.
What You'll Do
Build and strengthen relationships with an established network of real estate agents
Work closely with agents and their clients throughout active real estate transactions
Counsel borrowers on financing options based on their individual financial and credit scenarios
Structure appropriate mortgage solutions across a variety of client situations
Originate residential mortgage loans and manage clients from initial consultation through closing
Serve as a knowledgeable, responsive mortgage resource for real estate partners
Develop repeat and referral business through exceptional service and relationship management
Collaborate with your dedicated Loan Assistant and PRMI's operations team to keep transactions moving efficiently
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company lending requirements
Stay current on mortgage products, guidelines, market conditions, and lending strategies
What We're Looking For
State-licensed NMLS preferred
Candidates with a Federal NMLS will be considered and must obtain the required state license(s) within 90 days
Mortgage origination and lending experience
Strong understanding of real estate transactions and the mortgage process
Ability to evaluate client scenarios and confidently counsel borrowers on available financing solutions
Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, and other mortgage products
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Outgoing, proactive personality with the ability to connect naturally with real estate professionals and clients
Ability to earn trust and develop long-term referral relationships
Strong organization, responsiveness, and follow-through
Willingness to work in person and be actively involved with our real estate partners
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Instead of stepping into a traditional Loan Officer role and being expected to create every opportunity on your own, you'll be positioned within an established real estate partnership with significant transaction volume and relationships already available for you to develop.
You'll have:
Access to relationships within a real estate office producing approximately $200M in annual volume
An established network of real estate agents to build business with
A dedicated Loan Assistant to help support your production
Competitive compensation with strong earning potential
A broad range of mortgage products and lending solutions
Marketing, CRM, operations, and leadership support
The backing of a national mortgage platform
The opportunity to build lasting referral relationships and significantly grow your personal production
This opportunity is best suited for a Loan Officer who enjoys being in the room, building relationships, solving client scenarios, and becoming the mortgage professional that agents trust with their business.
