Loan ProcessorRobert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor for a contract opportunity with a growing financial services organization in Meriden, Connecticut. This role is ideal for a professional with experience handling loan documentation, coordinating with borrowers and lenders, and ensuring loans progress efficiently through the approval and closing process.The Loan Processor will serve as a key point of contact throughout the loan lifecycle, helping to ensure that applications are complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory guidelines.ResponsibilitiesReview loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completenessCollect and verify required borrower information, including income, assets, employment, and credit documentationCommunicate with applicants, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors to obtain outstanding conditionsOrder and monitor appraisals, title reports, flood certifications, and other required documentationMaintain accurate and organized loan files throughout the processing cycleSubmit complete loan packages to underwriting for reviewTrack loan statuses and proactively follow up on outstanding itemsEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable lending regulationsPrepare files for closing and fundingProvide exceptional customer service while guiding borrowers through the loan process
