nAbout the Role:

nSupports the optimization of workflow and processes for bank business unit(s). Responsible for identifying and documenting business unit requirements, investigating business unit systems, identifying options for improving business unit systems and bridging the needs of the business unit with the use of information technology. Provides a strong link between the business unit and information technology to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization as a whole to achieve its goals.

nnnCollaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to document, communicate, validate and refine necessary requirements and make recommendations based on product vision and market requirements, research data and organizational goals.

nnElicits information and ideas from subject matter experts, business owners, vendors, and others regarding existing and proposed business systems.

n

nnResearches and interprets business needs of moderate complexity and translates into application and operational requirements.

n

nnAssists with business base development and RFP process (as applicable) during the project initiate phase.

n

nnAssists in integration and user acceptance testing of new or revised workflows, processes, and/or systems.

n

nnSupports the development of training, as well as implementation and post-implementation material.

n

nnServes as a liaison between business units and Technology Advancement Group (TAG) through which requirements flow.

nnDemonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

n

nnFollows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

n

nnMaintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

nnMay be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

n

nnActively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.

n nAbout You:

nnnBachelor's Degree in business, project management, business systems or equivalent (preferred)

n

nn2-4 years - of relevant business analyst and/or project management and/or operations experience related to the assigned business unit function (Required)

n

nnBusiness operations knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills.

n

nnDemonstrated data analysis skills including project management and/or operations.

n

nnKnowledge of banking policies, procedures, practices and documentation.

n

nnProficient knowledge of development concepts and practices, potential applications, and customer requirements.

n

nnProven usage of project management skills.

n

nnExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

n

nnAbility to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.

n nThe pay range for this role is $22.70 - $30.00.

nThe pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
