nReady to launch your career in banking and learn the ins and outs of loan servicing? We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Support Specialist I to join our team! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity where you'll receive hands-on training, build foundational knowledge, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. nThe Loan Support Specialist I supports the servicing of consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loans in a high-volume environment with established deadlines. This role focuses on learning and performing core loan servicing tasks, following established procedures, and building knowledge of loan products, documentation, and regulations. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners while developing the skills needed to grow within Loan Operations.
nnnPerform key loan servicing tasks such as:

nnLoan maintenance and updates
n
nnPayment processing
n
nnData entry
n
nnLoan document preparation
n
nnEscrow and tax support
n
nnBasic reconciliations and support tasks
n
nnProcess loan-related transactions following established workflows, policies, and procedures
n
nnProvide timely, professional support to internal partners and external customers
n
nnAccurately complete work within assigned deadlines and communicate status updates as needed
n
nnTrack and support basic reporting metrics to help monitor team workflow
n
nnCollaborate with team members and assist where needed in a high-volume environment
n
nnParticipate in training and cross-training opportunities to expand knowledge across Loan Support functions
n
nnActively learn and apply loan servicing concepts, systems, and compliance requirements
n
nnFollow all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable regulations
n
nnContribute to a positive team culture by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to learn
n
nnSupport continuous improvement efforts and share ideas to enhance processes
n
nnDemonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

nnFollows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
n
nnMaintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

nnMay be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

n nAbout You:
nnnHigh School Diploma or GED required
n
nnAssociate's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
n
nn0-1 year of relevant experience in banking, finance, customer service, or administrative support preferred (we will train!)
n
nnStrong attention to detail and accuracy
n
nnAbility to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
n
nnComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
n
nnBasic math and problem-solving skills
n
nnStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with team members and partners

nnAbility to stay organized and manage multiple tasks

nnBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
n
nnPositive attitude and willingness to grow professional

n nThe pay range for this role is $18.00 - $30.00 an hour.
nThe pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
