nAbout the Role:
nThe Loan Support Specialist III is responsible for the servicing of consumer, small business, SBA and commercial loan servicing within an environment of high work volumes and established deadlines. Works on assignments that are highly complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations. Independently handles production tasks requiring knowledge of loan documentation, regulations, policies and procedures. This role interacts with bank staff at all levels in multiple departments, customers, escrow/title personnel, attorney’s and various levels of external professionals. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
nnnPerform loan servicing activities such as general loan maintenance, processing loan payments, data entry, loan document creation, lien perfection, escrow/tax support, flood review or general ledger reconciliation.

nnResponsible for the transaction and processing of complex consumer, small business, SBA and commercial/business loan products, required documentation, in accordance with theorganizationsworkflow, ensuringregulation, policy, and procedures practices are followed.

nnProvide outstanding service and timely response to requests from internal and external customers.
n
nnCaptures andmay be asked to analyze, and review report metrics to assist leadership in coordinating and adjusting workflow.
n
nnParticipate in continuous improvement efforts to and regularly assist in the identification and implementation of workflow improvements.
n
nnPerform work accurately and within assigned deadlines. Provide timely communication of work status so any incomplete work can be redistributed across the team.
n
nnAct as a Loan Servicing subject matter expert (SME) both internally and externally. Assist others in understanding theorganizationsprocesses, procedures and policies.
n
nnAssist leadership in training/leading others while providing guidance for overall performance improvement across the department. Will becross-trainedto assist and back-up others throughout Loan Support Services

nnParticipateonproject teams within division and across departments with intentional collaboration across all channels.
n
nnDemonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
n
nnFollows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
n
nnMaintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

nnMay be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

n nAbout You:
nnnHigh school diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.
n
nn4 + years of advanced consumer, SBA or commercial/business loan servicing or equivalent experience.
n
nn1+ years lead experience or equivalent.
n
nnPossess advanced working knowledge of commercial loans, regulations, policies and procedures.
n
nnAbility to apply a high degree of change to daily tasks/job functions within the work environment leading/training others with change.
n
nnDemonstrated advanced math, analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
n
nnPossess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
n
nnPossess working knowledge of consumer, SBA or commercial/business loan regulations, policies and procedures.
n
nnAdvanced proficiency of computer software including Word, Excel, loan servicing systems and other office equipment.
n
nnAbility to work in a service-oriented environment with high work volumes and providing guidance to others in meeting critical deadlines.
n
nnAbility to trouble shoot and determine best workflow practices making suggestions for process improvement.
n
nnAssist leadership in training/leading others while providing guidance for improvement in performance - department and associate.
n
n nThe pay range for this role is $18.00 - $30.00 an hour.
nThe pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
