nAbout the Role:

nThe Loan Support Specialist IV is responsible for the servicing of consumer, small business, SBA and commercial loan servicing within an environment of high work volumes and established deadlines. Works on assignments that are highly complex and specialized in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations. Independently handles production tasks requiring knowledge of loan documentation, regulations, policies and procedures. This role interacts with bank staff at all levels in multiple departments, customers, escrow/title personnel, attorney’s and various levels of external professionals. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

nnnPerform loan servicing activities such as general loan maintenance, processing loan payments, data entry, loan document creation, lien perfection, escrow/tax support, flood review or general ledger reconciliation.

nnMaintains oversight for the transaction and processing of moderate to highly complex and specialized consumer, small business, SBA and commercial/business loan products, required documentation, in accordance with theorganizationsworkflow, ensuring regulation, policy, and procedures practices are followed.

nnProvide outstanding service and timely response to requests from internal and external customers.

n

nnAnalyze daily report metrics and organize workflow assignments and tasks to ensure work is assigned and completed.

n

nnParticipate and may lead efforts to assist in the identification and implementation of workflow improvements.

n

nnPerform work accurately and within assigned deadlines. Provide timely communication or analysis of work that may be projected to be incomplete to allow or facilitate workload transfer.

n

nnProvide subject matter expertise of processes andsystemin all aspects of loan servicing and support activities. May participate on project teams within division and across departments with intentional collaboration across all channels

n

nnThroughmonitoring ofteam accuracy coach, mentor, train or teach coursework to others or as a subject matter expert to improve quality and overall performance of team. Will be asked to train on multiple functions to back-up and assistthroughoutLoan Support Services

nnActively participate in specialized project teams within division and across departments with intentional collaboration across all channels.

n

nnDemonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

n

nnFollows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

n

nnMaintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

n

nnMay be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

n

n nAbout You:

nnnHigh school diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.

n

nn5 + years of experience in handling highly complex or specialized consumer, SBA or commercial/business loans.

n

nn1+ years lead/supervisory/management experience or equivalent.

n

nnAssociate, Bachelor’s, vocational or technical degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

n

nnPossess advanced knowledge of commercial loans, regulations, policies and procedures.

n

nnAbility to create procedures for a high degree of change and assisting other to apply change to daily tasks/job functions within the work environment.

n

nnDemonstrated advanced math, analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

n

nnPossess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.

n

nnPossess working knowledge of consumer, SBA or commercial/business loan regulations, policies and procedures.

n

nnAdvanced proficiency of computer software including Word, Excel, loan servicing systems and other office equipment.

n

nnAbility to work in a service-oriented environment with high work volumes and providing direction to others in meeting critical deadlines.

n

nnAbility to trouble shoot and determine best workflow practices making suggestions and leading process improvement.

n

nnAssist leadership in training/leading others while providing guidance for improvement in performance - department and associate.

n

n nThe pay range for this role is $18.00 - $30.00 an hour.

nThe pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
