About the Position
Our client is seeking experienced local CDL A Drivers for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity in Houston, Texas. This role offers steady local work hauling general merchandise in a dry van with light-touch handling. A TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement are required, and drivers without a TWIC card must be willing to obtain one.
Pay & Schedule
$27.50 per hour
40 hours per week
Local routes based in Houston, Texas
Availability required 6 days per week
Monday through Friday, plus either Saturday or Sunday

Key Responsibilities
Operate CDL A equipment safely on local routes.
Transport general merchandise in a dry van with light-touch handling.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
Follow DOT safety standards and applicable regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
Minimum Requirements
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
TWIC card or willingness to obtain one.
Hazmat endorsement.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
