Job description
C.R. England is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated Kroger account serving the Denver metro area. This local fleet offers home-daily schedules, predictable store routes, no-touch freight, and strong weekly earnings.
Hiring Area
Applicants within a 60-mile radius of Aurora, Colorado.
Drivers report to the Kroger Distribution Center in Aurora.
Compensation
Average weekly pay: $1,625; average annualized pay: $84,500.
Top weekly pay: $1,650; top annualized pay: $85,800.
Pay per mile plus Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus.
Schedule and Home Time
Home daily in most cases.
Drivers work 6 days followed by 2 days off.
24/7 operation with night, evening, and early-morning driving.
No set daily schedule.
Occasional overnight runs may occur during surge periods.
Some short mountain runs may be assigned and still allow drivers to return home daily.
Job Responsibilities
Average approximately 1,700 miles per week.
Average 1-3 loads per day and about 13 stops weekly.
Live unload and drop-and-hook no-touch freight.
Deliver to King Soopers stores throughout Colorado and to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Drivers typically service the same stores, creating predictable routes.
Equipment
New 2025 model trucks.
Automatic transmissions.
Trucks must be parked at the Kroger facility and cannot be taken home.
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience.
Must be comfortable driving nights, evenings, early mornings, and occasional mountain routes.
Must be able to commute to the Aurora facility.
