About the Position
Our client is seeking a full-time, local CDL A Flatbed Driver to deliver underground utility products throughout the local area. This position involves transporting pipe, tubing, valves, fittings, and related construction materials using tractor-trailers and straight trucks. Drivers are home daily and will be responsible for strapping freight only.
Pay & Schedule Details
Pay: $26 per hour
Overtime: Available after 40 hours
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start Time: 7:00 a.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Temp to perm
Home Time: Home daily

Key Responsibilities
Complete local deliveries of pipe, tubing, valves, fittings, and underground utility products.
Operate tractor-trailer and straight-truck equipment as needed.
Assist with loading by placing 4x4s on the deck.
Communicate loading preferences and placement instructions to the forklift operator.
Secure freight with straps and ensure loads are properly prepared for transport.
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and loading personnel.
Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
Minimum Requirements
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Valid CDL Class A license.
Flatbed driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Ability to safely secure freight with straps.
Ability to operate manual-transmission equipment.
Strong communication, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
