Job description
- The Chicago Intermodal local IC driver position is based out of the Chicago terminal
- Daily duties: moving containers between the various rail ramps located throughout Chicago to customers for loading and/or unloading
- This position primarily services a 150-mile radius of Chicago, including WI and IN cities
- Base plates, permits, tolls are paid by owner operator
Optional weekly toll deductions is now $150/week
Optional weekly plates deductions are now $40/week
- Drivers are required to get their Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of attending orientation
- Drivers can run a sleeper or a day cab
- Owner Operators create own schedule
- Home daily
- $145,000 per year
- Must have 2001 or newer truck
- Must at least6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
