Job description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice
A Hospice Registered Nurse provides palliative and end-of-life care to patients in their homes or hospice facilities, focusing on comfort, symptom management, and emotional support for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized care plans to manage pain and other symptoms.
Offer emotional support and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers and chaplains.
Educate families on end-of-life care processes, medication administration, and coping strategies.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and updates thoroughly.
Work Environment:
In hospice centers or patients' homes, requiring travel in some cases.
