About the Position
TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for a local delivery route in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This position offers an hourly rate of $31, plus overtime, with no-touch freight and local routes that allow you to return home daily.
Pay & Job Details
Pay: $31 per hour plus OT Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 am start time. 10-12 hours per day Freight: hauling steel plates and pallets of steel to NYC, PA, NJ, NY Route type: Local delivery. 1-2 stops per day. Freight handling: No-touch freight. Strapping and securing of loads is required
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle on assigned local routes Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule Follow all applicable transportation laws, safety procedures, and company policies Conduct required vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly Maintain professional communication with dispatch and delivery locations
Minimum Requirements
CDL Class A license 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Flatbed and strapping experience required Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
