Job description
Seeking an anesthesiologist to provide coverage at a multi-facility academic medical center. Responsibilities include managing full anesthesiology subspecialties such as cardiac and neuro, with occasional weekend pager call. The position involves handling inpatient cases, with a requirement of 250 cases in the past year, and participating in teaching opportunities with residency and fellowship programs.
Key Duties
Perform anesthesia for diverse cases across multiple locations
Collaborate with medical staff and support team to ensure patient safety
Contribute to teaching and mentoring residents and fellows
Manage OB deliveries, with approximately 6,000 annually
Qualifications & Skills
Experience with inpatient anesthesia cases (minimum of 250 in past 12 months)
Proficiency in full anesthesiology subspecialties, including cardiac and neuro
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
