Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Call: None
Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-Based
Patient Population: 100% Adult Inpatient & Observation
A small, community-based hospital is seeking a Locum APP Hospitalist to provide consistent daytime coverage beginning December 2026. There is no current end date for the assignment, offering an opportunity for a provider interested in ongoing locum work.
The hospital offers a collaborative, physician-respected environment with supportive nursing staff, a collegial ED and surgical team, and a strong case management team to assist with patient discharge.
Monday-Friday, 9 AM-6 PM
In-person hospital coverage required during shifts
No call
Approximately 8-10 patients per day
100% adult inpatient and observation patients
Observation, inpatient floor, and intermediate/step-down level of care
Respond to codes and rapid responses
Manage and stabilize critically ill patients and coordinate transfer to a tertiary-care facility when needed
Strong overnight hospitalist MD team for additional support
