Job description
Locums Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Needs a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgeon to cover occasional weekend call and occasional PTO coverage!
• Ideal start: ASAP
• Specific dates TBD
• Schedule: 7am-7am
• EMR: Epic
• 1 CT Surgery dedicated OR
• 4 available PAs rotate to support surgeon in OR
• Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Shift Type: 24Hour
Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency and CT fellowship program - REQUIRED
Board Certified - REQUIRED
Active ID license - REQUIRED (no exceptions)
ACLS and DEA - REQUIRED
Clean background/no malpractice - REQUIRED
Required Procedures:
• Adult cardiac surgery
• General thoracic surgery
• Aortic dissection
• CABG
• Tube thoracostomy
• Pericardial window
• Thoracotomy lung resections and pneumonectomy
• Heart valve repair/replacement surgery
• Dissection
• VA + VV ECMO placement.
