Job description
Job Title: Locum CRNA
Employment Status: 1099
Job Type: Locum / Contract
Location: North Virginia
Duration: 3-6 months
Shifts: 10-hour shifts only
Call: Not required
Case Types: Ortho
Credentialing Timeframe: Under 30 days
EMR: Epic
Supervision Model: Supervision at a ratio of 1:4
Special Considerations: Must already have VA license. Needs to be available for 10 hour days, but can be sent home early on some days. This is an outpatient orthopedic need.
Job Summary
Access Healthcare Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Locum CRNA to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a range of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care. This locum opportunity offers flexibility while allowing the CRNA to work within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia care team.
Requirements
Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Virginia
Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in Orthopedic case types
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team
BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable
