Job description
Job Title: Locum CRNA
Employment Status: 1099
Job Type: Locum / Contract
Location: Southeast Virginia
Duration: 12 weeks
Shifts: 8s, 10s, 12s and 24s are required at this facility, with FT hours required weekly - holiday shifts preferred
Call: In-house call and holiday call is preferred
Case Types: General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Urology, GYN, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days
EMR: EPIC
Supervision Model: Supervision at a ratio of 1:4
Special Considerations: 24 hour OB available with 8s, 10s or 12s as shift options as well
Job Summary
Access Healthcare Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Locum CRNA to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a range of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care. This locum opportunity offers flexibility while allowing the CRNA to work within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia care team.
Requirements
Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Virginia
Minimum of 1-3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in various case types
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team
BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable
