We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist). As a Nurse Anesthetist, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout their treatment. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia care plans, monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Monitor and manage patient vital signs during anesthesia.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to create individualized anesthesia care plans.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the anesthesia process.
Assist in the post-anesthesia recovery process.
Document patient information and anesthesia care accurately.
Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to anesthesia administration.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on anesthesia best practices.
Requirements:
Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.
Strong knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and professionalism.
Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
Overnight beeper call shifts required
Daily Volume: 8 patients
Must be highly experienced in spinals and epidurals
Will work independently
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
