Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine
Summary: Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-notch emergency medical care in the vibrant community of Hot Springs, Arkansas. This facility is a Level 2 trauma center and a regional cardiac center, equipped to cater to patients from pediatric to elder age groups. We are seeking four locum physicians to serve our community for a duration of 12 months starting May 1st. Our emergency department thrives on teamwork, ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care to an average of 1.8 patients per hour.
Perform critical procedures including reductions, cardioversions, moderate sedation, lacerations, chest tubes, intubations, and central lines.
Assist fellow team members with complicated cases and share responsibilities in the department.
Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and dragon dictation for efficiency.
Collaborate with various specialists including General Surgery, Neurology, and Cardiology.
Qualifications:
Must have an active Arkansas medical license.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Certification in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA necessary.
Clean malpractice record.
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days required at presentation.
