Locum Opportunity for Interventional Cardiologist in Nampa, ID
Excellent locum opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist providing inpatient-only call coverage in Idaho. This position offers flexible dates, consistent scheduling blocks, and APP support during the day.
Call Coverage Only – No Clinic
24-hour call coverage

Nov 4 (7a) – Nov 10 (7a)
Nov 27 (7a) – Dec 2 (7a)
Dec 2 (7a) – Dec 8 (7a)
Dec 24 (7a) – Jan 5 (7a)
Jan 22 (7a) – Jan 27 (7a)
Feb 18 (7a) – Feb 24 (7a)
Mar 19 (7a) – Mar 24 (7a)
Apr 16 (7a) – Apr 21 (7a)
Inpatient-only coverage
Average volume: 2 procedures/day
Trauma Level: II
Beds: 18 ICU, 18 Telemetry, 10 CMU
APP Support:• Weekdays – 1–2 APPs on-site• Weekends – 1 APP for 5 hours/day
Required: Interventional Cardiology procedures
Highly Preferred: TEE, Balloon pumps, Coronary stents, IVUS, IFR
STEMI activations: ~3 per week (average)
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology – Required
Active Idaho License or IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) – Required
Clean malpractice and background – Required
COVID vaccine – Required (verbal confirmation at time of name clear)
Local candidates preferred (no flights)
Credentialing Documents Required: MD diploma, training certificates, licenses, DEA, board cert, BLS, COI, photo ID, CME (past 2 yrs), immunizations (including COVID, TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella), case logs, and references.
