Currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) specializing in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality medical care to patients in need of anesthesia services. You will be involved in a variety of medical projects, ensuring the well-being and safety of individuals undergoing surgical procedures. This position is vital to our company's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services and maintaining patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures.
Monitor and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Evaluate patients' medical history to determine the most appropriate anesthesia plan.
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of anesthesia administration.
Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license.
Proven experience in administering anesthesia in a medical setting.
Strong understanding of anesthesia principles, practices, and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Willingness to adhere to strict ethical and professional standards.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5:30p
Weeknight and weekend beeper call shifts
Cases: General, GYN, ENT, vascular, thoracic, urology, etc.
No neuro or spine cases
EMR: Meditech
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
