As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia services and support to various healthcare facilities. This position is ideal for individuals looking to expand their skills and contribute to high-quality patient care while working closely with seasoned professionals in the field.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety
Conduct pre‑anesthetic evaluations and consultations
Provide post‑anesthesia care and support
Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care
Stay informed about advancements in anesthesiology techniques
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Current and valid medical license in the state of practice
Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment
Commitment to high‑quality patient care and safety
Basic understanding of anesthesia equipment and technology
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting
Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7a‑5p, call shifts 5p‑7a Monday‑Friday & 24‑hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Census: Average 5 admissions, 1 inpatient, 1 ICU patient daily
Travel & paid travel expenses included
Board Certification required
