As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with various cardiovascular conditions. You'll work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality diagnostic and treatment services to patients with cardiovascular diseases
Perform thorough patient evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Participate in meetings and case discussions to enhance care delivery
Stay updated with the latest research and advances in cardiology
Document patient information and treatment plans accurately
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiovascular health
Requirements
Active MD or DO license to practice in the state of Nebraska
Completion of a residency in Cardiology
Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
Strong clinical assessment skills and expertise in cardiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
Commitment to patient care and advancing cardiovascular health
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Must be board‑certified
ACLS, BLS, and DEA highly preferred
Paid travel and expenses
Schedule: 8a-4:30p
Night Call Coverage: 4:30p-8a
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Case Types: General cardiology, echos, and TEEs
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Epic
