This on-site, contract position is perfect for a mid-senior level professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.
In this role, you will provide exceptional cardiology care while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will be critical in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases, contributing to improved patient outcomes, and ensuring high standards of care.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive cardiology assessments and patient care
Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases and conditions
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Conduct diagnostic procedures and interpret results
Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and prevention
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Cardiology
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiology
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
Current medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
Flexible Schedule: 8a-5p, shifts available Monday-Sunday
Weeknight and weekend beeper call shifts available
Setting: Inpatient
Patient Census: 15-18 per shift
Cases: STEMI call, TAVRS, cath lab, and general reads (nucs, TEEs, etc.)
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
