As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient management. This position is ideal for an Associate-level physician aiming to enhance their skills in a fast-paced medical environment
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments in cardiology
Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and conditions
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results effectively
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular health and preventive measures
Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
Associate-level experience in a clinical environment
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
Commitment to high-quality patient care
Licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction
24-hour call coverage
Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
ACLS and BLS preferred
Paid expenses & travel
