This contract on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment while supporting our mission in the staffing and recruiting industry.
As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care to patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing acute medical situations and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This position not only contributes to patient well-being but also enhances your professional experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
Assess and triage patients to determine treatment priorities
Stabilize patients and perform emergency procedures as needed
Collaborate with nursing and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with patients and their families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and medical standards
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
Experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a locum or similar role
Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Board certification in Emergency Medicine is preferred
Schedule: 5p-7a
Level IV trauma
Monthly Volume: 1,300+ patients
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
