As a Locum Hospitalist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality inpatient medical care to hospitalized patients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
Monitor and evaluate patient progress consistently
Ensure timely documentation and updates in medical records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Educate patients and families about health conditions and preventive care
Respond to medical emergencies in the hospital setting
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Current medical license in good standing in (State)
Experience in hospital medicine or related clinical practice
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and ethical standards
BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred
Schedule: Day shifts
Patient Volume: 20 per day
Must be board-certified
