As a Locum Neurologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough neurological assessments and evaluations
Diagnose and treat a variety of neurological disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatments
Stay current with advancements in neurology and healthcare best practices
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care meetings
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Board certification in Neurology is preferred
Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on neurology
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and clinical situations
Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off
Setting: Inpatient
ED and med floor consults for strokes, seizures, EEG reads, and other neurological conditions
EMR: Patient Keeper and Meditech
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses
