As a Locum Urologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating urological conditions. You will work with a team of medical professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes for our patients. This position not only supports the immediate needs of our practice but also offers insights into the ongoing developments within the medical sector.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive urological care to patients
Conduct diagnosis and treatment plans for urological disorders
Perform surgical procedures as required
Participate in patient consultations and follow-ups
Collaborate with nursing and other medical staff
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Stay updated with the latest advancements in urology
Participate in continuing education and training sessions
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification or eligibility in Urology
Associate level of experience in a clinical setting
Strong diagnostic skills and decision-making abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
Commitment to patient care and medical ethics
Active medical license in the state of California
24-hour call coverage
Daily Volume: 2-3 phone calls per day, 2 patients
Required Procedures: General urology
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
BLS required
Paid travel and expenses
