As a Locum MD in Gastroenterology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering high‑quality healthcare services. You will be working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders
Perform endoscopic procedures as necessary
Develop and implement patient management plans
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health and wellness
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
MD degree from an accredited medical school
Active medical license in the state of practice
Experience in Gastroenterology or related field
Strong diagnostic and treatment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: 7:30a‑4p
Daily Volume: 10-12 scopes
Cases: Scope backlog and call coverage
3 endo suites
Support Staff: APPs, anesthesiologists, CRNAs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board‑certified
Paid travel & expenses
