This on-site contract position is based in La Grande and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the community while providing high-quality healthcare services.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, including diagnosing and treating various health conditions, conducting health assessments, and providing patient education. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages
Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care meetings
Requirements
Associate's degree in Nursing or related field
Current NP certification and state licensure to practice
Experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: 4-day workweek (Mon-Thurs)
Shift Information: 8a-6p
Patient Population: All ages
Average Daily Volume: 10-15 patients
EMR: Epic
Must have experience and be able to work independently
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
