Job description
Locum Nurse Practitioner – Neurointerventional Surgery
Location: St. Mary’s Hospital, Richmond, VA
Specialty: Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Neurointerventional Surgery
Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Providers Needed: 1
Coverage: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week until a permanent provider is hired
Shift Times: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Night Availability: Required
Call: None
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Inpatient: 100%
EMR: Epic
Leadership/Teaching: Not required
Responsibilities
Respond to code stroke emergencies.
Provide post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients.
Manage and monitor adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient setting.
Complete clinical documentation in Epic.
Submission Requirements
Board Certified - (REQUIRED) - AANP
Active VA license - (Preferred)
Active ACLS, BLS - (REQUIRED)
Neurocritical care nursing experience - (REQUIRED)
