About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Critical Care NP in New York!
Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 6-day assignment. This role involves providing coverage for sporadic one-off dates, with a mix of 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am shifts, primarily covering ICU and IMCU units and managing a low volume of consults.
Responsibilities and Duties
Covering ICU and IMCU units located on the same floor
Managing 0-5 consults per day, typically 1-2
Rounding on an average of 8-10 patients in the unit
Collaborating with 1-2 residents who round daily except Sundays
Providing coverage for sporadic one-off dates
Additional Information
EMR: Epic
Setting: Inpatient (ICU, IMCU)
Call Schedule: No call requirement; however, night and weekend coverage is needed
Patient Volume: Average of 8-10 patients in unit, 0-5 daily consults
Staffing Mix: 1-2 residents rounding daily except Sundays
